Part-time Administrative Bookkeeper at First Baptist Church of DeKalb
FBCD has been a part of this community for the last 180 years. We are the longest running church in DeKalb and the second oldest in the county.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Part-Time Administrative Bookkeeper to join our team. This position will provide vital support in managing financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with general office administration.
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Financial Record Keeping (deposits, bill pay, bank reconciliations, etc)
Payroll
Tax & Insurance Compliance
Weekly Church Service slides and bulletin
General Office Administration
Qualifications:
Required: proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience as a bookkeeper, office assistant, or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a nonprofit or church setting.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Hours: Part time (5-10 hour per week)
Schedule: Flexible (once acclimated to role, will need to keep consistent hours)
Compensation: $20 per hour
